Default Best place to find scoobs?

Hello all!

I'm a new member so thought I would say hello and ask you guys for your thoughts!

Been trawling the Internet for 2 weeks now trying to find the perfect STI TYPE UK.

Looking daily on:
Autotrader
eBay
Pistonheads

But no look so far for the one I want!

Need to try and find one under 30k miles and hopefully with some nice expensive mods!

Any help putting me in touch with friends/members/sites would be appreciated as without a car at the moment!

Cheers!

You need some more detail ie what colour, budget, age, what mods/power you want will help point you in the right direction.

I would like a prodrive version of the cheap tax bracket hawkeye. Open to colours to be fair, although black or grey would be ideal!

Looking initially around the 11k budget but looking either side of that amount, plus if the perfect car comes up I will have to see if I can stretch!

Mods, desirable...... However not 'ripspeed' mods, just high quality stuff!!

Youve looked everywhere other than a Subaru dealership? Personally that would be my 1st port of call

Checking that on a daily basis mate but nothing coming up to fit my original bill!

Thought there would be more coming up on here, but no such luck!

Hopefully one will come out the woodwork soon as itching to get a scoob

You will be limited on the tax bracket. There can't be that many that fall in the lower road tax group. I know of a few late Blob STI's that got caught in the higher bracket.

JDM 2.0 is in the lower band though

Yeah checked them out a few times, but not seen much stock changing there.

Still trawling the net but hard to find one under 30k mileage!

Hopefully word of mouth on here will get people in touch if there thinking of selling!

The one on here is 52k but is only £8400 - so swings and roundabouts!
(it also looks more like Silver on my laptop, so may have to clean my works computers screen!).

I wouldn't worry about mileage that much. I heard of some engines letting go around the 30,000 mile mark while others are still going strong at 200,000 miles. Some hatch engines never made it to 10,000 miles. You'll be hard pushed to find a 6 year old car that has covered less than 5,000 miles a year.
