I'll give you a teaser of what my mate is doing for me at the moment. He's been perfecting the latest chrome paint over the last year, including coloured chrome so I gave him some impreza parts to experiment on. Should be ready in a week or 2. The amazing thing is, he can also do plastics with it as it has a low bake temperature, so things like charcoal canister, bottles, lids, covers etc all look like polished metal. Will post better pics when I get the stuff in my hands, but the chrome literally is almost mirror finish on a smooth surface. PS, I know the prices for this if anyone is interested
Heres a shadow chrome inlet he's done for me, and red with a hint of chrome covers and header tank.

if there is texture to the things you are polishing you have to sand them down smooth first and then polish them with a dremel with a polishing wheel or if youve got access to a proper polishing wheel use that. ive done a few things in the past but its time consuming, idid the inlet but didnt like the finish in the cracks and crevices so apinted it anway but looks better than the textured finish anyway.
