I took some pics of the evo,
very nice looking car,
reg number was P-something.
I didn't get any track pictures, tough,
there is no possability of getting somewhere like a tribune.
Anyway, tomorrow I'm back there and I saw some "illegal" possibilites.
Like crawling up to a bridge and park the car.
(Company diesel, so no problem, no sweat )
Stef cars looked good, don't know if the license plate was very legal. The STI is a beaut too.

Wouldn't give passenger laps either, blew Linda right out he did . Still, she made up for the disappointments by going for a blast with Steve in his Evo.... all I hear about is Evo this Evo that now Still, when it comes time to change cars, the Evo route will have been nicely smoothed Cheers Steve

I was a bit disappointed with the Skyline to be honest, especially when he decided to brake halfway along one of the fastest straights on the track<snip...>[/quote]

Great picci's Joris, cheers.
You should have come and said 'hi' though.
Scooby Nutter.
Are you saying that Skyline is supposed to have an £18k 500bhp engine??????
He was there with the white Evo you mention and an RS500 Cossie running a supposed 380-450bhp (depending what mood he was in! ).
I was a bit disappointed with the Skyline to be honest, especially when he decided to brake halfway along one of the fastest straights on the track, causing me to swerve quite violently! . If it has got 500bhp it certainly wasn't showing. It sounded very rough in the car park on Saturday afternoon as well, as if it had serious engine problems. Sounded expensive anyway. The chap that owns the Evo (ex race-driver??) was driving it at the time.
I'm glad the Cossie was there though cos it puts another RS500 scalp on me mantlepiece! There were actually three there, the one we've just mentioned, a black one (that may have been a fake apparently) and a foreign one. The foreign one managed to end up stacked BEHIND the armco on a steep bank (pics to follow) and the black one also went off. Both drivers OK though.
I'll include the footage of the Evo, Cossie and Skyline on my next video, so when they come back and tell you nothing got past them.....well, you know.

Stef,
The skyline engine has been tuned for 580bhp!!by middlehurst i think. The owner recorded 181 mph on one of the straights(dont know if my evo friend is telling porkies but it is meant to be stored in the cars memory for all to see!!)
My mate in the evo only took the skyline out once but did a few good laps in his evo.He use to race caterhams(spelt right??)think he was british champion few years back.
His mate was in the cossie, reg number turbolt, dont know how his car went on the day
.Stef ,did you make the last ring video that was offered for sale on the bbs???I really need a copy!!

Hi Joris,
no probs if you'd seen my scoob you'd know it's mine as it's got my name written in the back windows. (courtesy of salsa-king enterprises) MY94 RA in white with no spoiler.
It was a shame about sunday with all the snow and all, but it should be tshirt and shorts weather next time.
