Default Hurst Cars

I see 2 rare beasts for sale at Hurst Cars ,but which is better???

Both the S202 and Bug RA are stunning cars for sale ,but as this is a scooby site, what are peoples thoughts of both cars?

Which would drive better ? Both have a massive ammount of time and money spent on mods, but which one would you have? and why?

Which would handle better ?

I understand the rawness of both cars ,but what is the main differences between a s202 Spec C and a Bug RA ? i know the thinner glass/smaller fuel tank alloy panels and a few ,but what else seperates these 2 cars?

Finally, what can be expected from both cars in the way of further tuning
i think the GT30 is capable of near 500,with correctly supporting mods, but no mention of what injectors the Ra is running.is it just a matter of a remap or other bits needed?

What about the S202 is the MD321T a simular spec to the GT30?

And yes, i am also interested in these cars as a possible future purchase,so all information would be greatful !
Thanks in advance

Here's a question for you...

Why not go and test drive them to see which one you prefer...?

nice s202 indeed but!!, i went to look at a car that they had in stock a while back and it wasnt the best imo, pics taken at a nice location and the car was in some ****hole shut down garage in the middle of bedford and wasnt as described in the ad, it may just been a 1 off but we left after 2 mins after a 2 hour drive to see it !

Did you go to buy the location of pictures, the storage or the car itself? All faults no matter how minor or major are disclosed to prospective buyers over the phone prior to viewing in order to save potential buyers time. I'm certain 99% of buyers would agree on that. Now if the car did not meet your expectations after everything had been disclosed, that's unfortunate as each individual standards can and do differ. This is not the chap who came to see a "new" 15 year old sti type r is it? If it is apologies if you felt it was a total waste of time. I try my upmost to disclose ALL prior to viewing.

as i said mate , it may have just been a 1 off , but the car in the pic had a lovely set of wheels on it and when we came to view they were on a different car and we we told that someone else wanted them and they had been taken off ! they were one of the main features for my friend buying the car etc , there were some other really nice cars in stock but just felt abit let down when we came to view the one we potentially wanted to buy etc.

Guess the S202 being sold has made the choice easier anyway Got to say that they both look very nice examples.

At the end of the day he is a car dealer and if a customer wants a set of wheels on a car and it will secure the sale then you do whatever it takes to make the sale. Maybe the wheel change was made after the conversation.

Indeed true, swapped the wheels, not to be sold as advertised. In my book thats is taking the " michael "

Met Max a number of times and can honestly say he's a gent. Purchased a car and many parts from him over the last couple of years without any issues (except that his negotiating skills are better than mine :-( lol)
There's also many other happy customers who frequent SNET.

Best thing to do is go and meet him yourself and take a test drive.
