Urgent help, flat battery

Default Urgent help, flat battery

Hi all, I'm stuck on a roadside having run my battery flat while on the phone....my wife's on her way to me in he mini cooper, petrol, and jump leads - will that be beefy enough to get me going or should I call the aa ?

Her car will start it mate. Get her to hold the revs up a touch if need be.

How long we're you on the bloody phone for to run the battery flat ?

Should be fine, after you have connected up leave it a few minutes before trying to start to put a bit of a charge into your battery. Obviously keep the Mini running and rev it a bit to help also.

Cheers guys, she's here now, and has a weird one terminal battery as her battery was changed when a typhoon induction kit went in, great !!!

Use her positive terminal and use the chassis as an earth.

check your boot light isnt stuck on!!!! mine was for 2 years and cost me 3 batteries.

Cheers again - have sent her home and will wait for aa now, appreciate the help - this is why I used to love scooby net....oh, and boot light already disconnected !
