Rays TE37: what colour bronze paint ?

Default Rays TE37: what colour bronze paint ?

After having these re-painted in white, and a mis-match in the shade we chose. ive decided now a bronze or similar is what i want. question is though, what shade and do i go matt or metallic before they are lacquered ? wheels are going on my white R ...

I'd go with a semi gloss or eggshell effect not gloss Craig

try to keep them the same colour as they look nice,i would say a light gold/bronze rather than the darker bronzes.

Before they are lacquered do you mean ? do you have a paint colour code or example of what you say there .....

No not before the clear,the eggshell effect is the laquer mate and it means not the full shiney affect you see on you car panels.
I will have a run through the chips and post some paint codes that would suit

Im def sure i want a lighter bronze mate. what i really would like is a colour code or.... for my body shop to mix up paint from.

yea, thats real funny... its taken maybe 15 hours with a machine getting all the wrong shade white off

i know mate, we were here couple of weeks ago. i really want to see them go through the whole process though with my own eyes.. see how the whole job comes together

Will you be able to post up a few examples in the week mate ? the wheels are finally stripped back to metal ready to primed (again )

A little bird told me today, you might be able to mix up some 230 in an un-bright shade in a rattle can

Might be wanting some of that meeself

I pointed him in your direction Best i know there could be 3 shades of 230 but there is no way to determine the right one without having a trained eye match it up....
