Leave it on mate it's part of the crash structure, it's got to add some ridgidity to the front end, I have heard people say the car drives and feels better without but I can't see how ? Without there is bound to be more flex which can't be any good for handling ?

Haha I see

You should be able to pick one up off a later car and fit that, or clean yours up with a wire brush and re paint with hamerite smooth black or something like that.

the wire brush aint gonna work past that m8,for some reason both front corners have holes in top of it,knackered m8.strange as the rest of the car is great.

Bin it for weight loss and no ill effects on handling.

Keep it for crash structure rigidity.

Your choice.
