Default Anyone Know this Wagon ?

Hi All,

First post

Purchased my first Impreza today;

http://www.flickr.com/photos/61712695@N07/6844222782/http://www.flickr.com/photos/61712695@N07/6844222782/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/61712695@N07/, on Flickr

Needs a bit of work here and there cosmetically and has a slight misfire when cold but apart from that pretty happy for £600

From my brief look over it I've spotted a Forge BOV, full cat back system and some sort of aftermarket cone induction filter.

Was traded in at Martins Renault in Winchester last weekend against a 318i by a chap from Swindon I believe.

I'm guessing its one of the first Wagons produced and imported ? It still has the flare and all the japanese stickers.

From my internet trawling so far this gives a base spec of 220ps, forged engine and viscous LSD's at both ends ?

Needs some different wheels I think, maybe some black classic STI types ?

That info was from my internet trawling;

http://www.rs25.com/forums/f4/t18973...gon-specs.html

Whether its correct or not I have no idea, still reading through pages and pages of dribble !

Bargain, sound like it's been fettled a bit, but make sure its been mapped for the mods, and importantly UK fuel if its an import

Need to get it up to a RR and do a power/diagnostics run then

Its got a stack of paperwork with it, I had a quick flick through it all at work earlier and the previous owner spent the best part of £2k at a specialist on it last year

Hopeing there is some evidence of mapping hidden away in it.

Wish I'd bought it home instead of leaving it in the workshop and taking the Galant now, I want to drive it

Live out in the sticks (ish) and there are some perfect roads round here for a sunday morning blast

Couple more pics, gave her a quick wash today before I took her out for a shakedown run to see what faults I could find

Had a chance to sift through the invoices, no evidence of mapping but found this which made me rather happy

Will get her in the workshop and have a poke at the ECU and see if there is a chip/daughterboard attached.

Had such fun in her down some twisty country lanes today, 3rd gear down a tree lined straight is awesome
