Default Scoobyworld Remap

Hello all,

Had my STi 2007 2.5 remapped at Scoobyworld by Neil today, started off with 296.5 Bhp and is sitting now at 345.6 Bhp with 370 lb/ft torque, that was a decat, walbro 255, K&N and EcuTek, previous to that only mods were H&S Non-Res centre section, Turbosmart Dual Port BOV and Scoobyparts Tornado 2 rear silencer.

Overall a very good service from Neil at Scoobyworld, he was tuning on the err of caution with the potential issues the 2.5's can get without forged internals which I totally appreciated as it is my everyday driver.

I will post up the Dyno Charts when I get them, anybody else had similar results from a 2.5 STi?

A big thanks to Neil, looking forward to picking it up tomorrow!

Aye! I'm looking forward to seeing them too! Ill post up the dynos graphs as soon as I get them!

Neil said I was running pretty rich to begin with and also that my Turbosmart BOV had a leaking gasket so it threw things off a bit! I really can't wait to get it back tomorrow! Hehe

Hey man, think Neil said he was going to map it up to 1.35 bar, not sure, seemingly it was already running 1.1 bar unmapped! Will see on the sheets today.

Ahh! I was thinking that was some serious mapping going on there! haha!

Im blown away by the difference in the car after the decat remap work! Its super impressive! I cant imagine what it would be like with forged internals and the boost cranked up further!

Ahh gotchya! I was on the train down to pick the car up about then, I was like a frustrated kid waiting to get the car! Was good speaking to Neil though as I had a lot of questions regarding tuning

Yeah he was pretty sound, he was showing me the dyno and his own scooby engine he is working on which will be putting out over 500 I think he said

What...Scoobynet discount! Haha! Im sure Neil can explain this one when he sees this thread, I sent him an email linking it up!

On another note, Neil can you check your workshop for a Cigarette adapter Blackberry charger with a coily lead! Mines gone missin out the car, maybe it got caught up with your mapping kit?! I couldnt text anybody on the move up how good the car felt as my phone was dead lol!

Hi

Glad you're happy with the performance, it went extremely well on the test drive after mapping

I'll have a look on Monday for your phone charger, we have a similar one that we plug into the cigarette charger, and powers the Dyno handset so it's almost certain to be swept up into our mapping kit afterwords unfortunately . If so I'll courier it out on Monday if that's ok?

I did give you a bit of a SN discount - we didn't charge for the fuel pump

Gave a good weekend and thanks for coming down to us.

Cheers

Neil

Alright Neil! Aaah I was only joking about the discount but bloody hell thanks a lot pal! I'm really glad with the caution you have played with the mapping considering the 2.5s histories and it being an everyday driver! I was having some fun on the way home...I see what you mean about the pop around 2500rpm on deaccel! Really cool! Boosts a million times better now too!

Aye I thought you might have accidently mixed it up in with the mapping kit wasn't sure though! If you find it send it on up please! Modern phones have a crap life.

Will buy all my tuning parts off you in future! Thanks again

Big +1 for Scoobyworld

Always get great service and excellent advice.

Hope to get my Scoobynet discount in the next few months when my routine service is due and if I can get the finances together an uprated fuel pump and remap. (Fingers crossed)
