Default My Valeting Season Started Today With My WRX

So after finishing work today I kickstarted off my 2012 valeting season starting with my own car, WR Blue, 05 blob WRX

Pressure washed using karcher jubilee
Pre soaked using valet pro ph neutral snow foam, Using an elite snow foam lance
washed by hand With meguiars hyperwash (meguiars 2 bucket method) using 2 mitts
Rinsed with 0ppm water filter
Body & wheels dried using black & decker leaf blower
All door shuts, petrol flap, boot & bonnet jams dried using microfiber cloths

Glass treated with carlack nano treatment
Tyres dressed with meguiars detailer range all season dressing
Car machine polished with meguiars g220 & menzerna polishes
Car waxed with 2 coats of chemical guys XXX hardcore
Exhaust polished with solvol autosol

Interior vacuumed
Seats & mats brushed
Dash wiped over with meguiars interior detailer

Anyway, photos, lighting was pretty poor by the time it was completed but I hope you like it anyway

Next finding their way on to the car (ordered & awaiting delivery) will be a set of the silver metal interior handles & STI gear **** surround which will hopefully be here Monday / Tuesday

Thoughts & opinions welcomed as always
Jeff

How did you find the paint? I am about to do mine very soon but need some advice on which pad/polish combo to opt for.

I opted for menzerna final finish on a 6" polishing pad to start followed by the same polish on a meguiars 6" finishing pad, compared to the vag cars the paint is soft and not overly thick, I pre inspected every panel with a pdg looking for thickness & consistency, good news is all my paint is original, no high or low spots, measuring between 60 & 80 microns in depth on side panels, raising up to 95-100 microns on flat surface panels

I made 2 corrective passes on each panel working the polish for 10-12 minutes a time allowing to cool before re passing over it, followed by 2 final passes with the finishing pad for depth & gloss, using the above process but for 5-7 mins a panel

Very nice and clean, I use the same tyre dressing I've tried all different kinds in the past but this is definately the best and the shine lasts for ages 😉
