Default First week on Tesco 99. My views.

Ive been running my car on Texaco 97 and have now swapped to Tesco 99. My 150 mile weekly drive has given me time to observe the higher octane driving changes. For the first few miles on the first day, the car didnt seem much more powerful. Then as time progressed the car got more pwerful from 3k rpm upwards and the exhaust now growls even though it is a prodrive one. The engine is now strong and unrelenting, even going uphill under load. There was around 2 gallons of 97 left in the tank when i filled up with 99. This weekends fill up may see a teeny bit more grunt. Defo not a placebo.

Tesco 99 is really good fuel. It felt better than v-power in my fiesta ST. Never ran the scoob on anything but tesco 99.

52 plate bugeye turbo. prodrive model, mapped again. No mods except k & n panel filter and manual boost controller and boost gauge. Car ran fine on 97 but jerked under load, which the previous owner said would happen if anything less than 99 was used. Doesnt jerk on 99 and pulls like a train.
