No had much of a problem in the wet with them, but this morning the car was moving without even using the throttle!

Yeah, not that bad in the wet. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get RE070's in 18 inch for the RX8?

I had re070 on last year with all the snow and never had any major issues, but this year bought some winter tyres and they are better, but we not had enough snow yet to try them out properly.
