Clean the Sale section Plz.
I am going throu pages and pages in the sale section. I think we need a admin here to start removing the SOLD posts so it cuts down on the page count. Just my thought.

They could create a sub-section called the 'graveyard' and if possible let the seller click a button to on thier thread to move it over once everything is sold, rather than delete it altogether because if anything untoward happens between buyer/seller there is reference .

Yeah, I like the Graveyard idea. They could put 'SOLD' in the title when sold, but the problem with both is what if a number of items are being sold? You can't put the post in the Graveyard or put sold in the title, and advertising items for sale singularly goes against policy.

I think I'll end up in the graveyard at this rate LOL. We can't remove posts as that messes up iTrader (as there would be no deal thread url ).
But a sales graveyard seems like a good idea, however it needs to be automated or something that can be done by the user, as manually administering it would be a laborious task. Also the point about multiple items per thread is valid. If everyone went back to one thread per item then would that cause more congestion than the graveyard would reduce?
On the face of it currently, if an item is sold, so long as its not replied to it should fall off page two within the space of two days anyway. So is it really an issue? If the OP renamed the title to suit on multiple item threads (this is done by double clicking on the thread title in the thread listings), then this would go towards removing confusion.
Needs some more pondering I think

Well you could always leave the option for the person who stared the for sale ad?
As there is a thread tools tab, maybe allowing us mere mortals the ability to Close a thread, that could make your life easier, as you could see the threads easily as being closed/sold. So saves people looking at a thread to see the items sold.

People should state classic or newage in the title too to stop me wasting time looking at threads for parts that are no good to me Also being able to edit the title to sold would save time.
