cost of replacing 55 Plate WRX rear shocks
Hi
I have searched the threads but cant find answers to this question
the rear shocks need replacing and i have a cost from Extreme Scoobies who do the servicing of £500 for the pair fitting a OEM copy of the stock Subaru, is this good value as it is a lot of money.
I hope to keep the car for another two years as it has 90,000 miles now and i am happy with the standard Subaru set up so dont want to replace it all unless it saves money.

Unlucky mate just sold my complete 04 wrx shocks. Give jap performance parts a bell they might have some? £500 sounds a lot to me imo for like for like shocks?! Especially when you can pickup some bc's for £650ish, not fitted may I ad.

Mate the rear shock went on my scooby. It was then a reason to upgrade the coulovers. Got BC coilovers on there. Do a quick search and you will see how highly recommended they are.

As mentioned camskills sell a new ones for around £200. I would expect to pay no more than £300 including fitting. My Subaru independent would do the lot for £270.
