Good turbo which offers good mid range punch and can see 330 bhp+ ,with good supporting mods. The trick is to get a good used one,as most will be 13+ yrs old now imho.

Don't think so, 340 ish the most , but you'll max it out which is not good. Dont chase numbers guys , its a good allrounder for the money you can get, you wont feel extra 10bhp anyway . I'm running 330ish safely , 320ish lb/ft .

I have the vf22 on my type r. Apparently they can take 25 psi, 1.7 bar (with proper mods an mapping). So 350hp shouldn't be a problem. Only thing is its a bit laggy. Full boost on mine is about 3700 revs. But the potential for peak power is good on them. Search for the vf turbo range, 22,23,24 etc. Full details on that bud!

Yes with the right mods ,but you might see a new gearbox as well .
Agree with mantanzi as a 330 bhp car with a vf23, wont be as laggy as a car with a vf22 fitted, but will make a quick allround car imho.
