"Unbeaten again in 2008
2008 season sees a change of spec, bodywork is widened out to 22b spec plus a further 2" !Wheels are 10x17" and running 275/40-17" tyres to fill the fat arches. A fresh new paint scheme completes the look.
The car this year has been returned to a more circuit biased spec whilst retaining full road legality, this has added a bit more weight with Ohlins suspension, heavy ARB's and big brakes, we still however managed to repeat our record breaking 9.1 second 1/4 mile run at Santa Pod whilst in circuit race trim.
2008 draws to a close and our car remains unbeaten on top speed (210.2 mph) and 1/4 mile records for a UK Subaru."
edit.. no not in a waggon. If you get it light enough and powerfull enough it should be possible I would recon

Seeing the banana thru a build and knowing that only manages 194mph at the moment make me think if your aiming for a 200mph car you will need a big drawer full of cash and loads of patience. Also are you going to be the one to drive at 200mph+ as it takes a lot of ***** as I certainly wouldn't like to drive at that speed.

I bet he was a little pissed off when the wheel came off Here is a guy spinning out at 183mph at Marham which incedently will be one of the only placed you may able to have a go at reaching a 200mph terminal

Ill be driving! 130mph + through the woods, 200mph + going straight in an open space will be slightly less pant browning!!!

Don't take this the wrong way, but If you need to ask whether it is possible, I doubt you are capable...
200 in a Subaru is not just a case of bolting a load of parts together, or throwing money at it.
I'm not sure if the Gobstopper ever acheived it, and the money spent on that was into 6 figures AFAIK, and some pretty clever people behind it.
I would love nothing more than for you to prove me wrong, so go for it.
