From: Trying to pull a 10 second 1/4 mile running a standard 2.0ltr engine...
Am i right in thinking all thats needed for a swirl pot setup is the pot, external fuel pump(044 etc),and an inline fuel filter and fittings,i currently have a walbro lp300 in the tank and im suffering bad with fuel surge on acceleration and corners with anything less than half a tank of fuel so any help would be greatly appreciated.

But must say,044 fuel pump is little bit noisy

Boot Mounted setup, with Torques PTFE Hoses and connectors.
Fabricated by myself.
Boot oy bay mounted both have it's pros and cons, to me the pros of a boot mounted setup are more important.

This is my set up swirl pot is in the base off the tank no need for a lifter pump only the 044 and filters having this lot in the boot is a good excuse for not doing the shopping in this car

Heres mine, fair to say it was definately inspired by Frayz's setup!
Still a work in progress so things look pretty tatty!
Custom swirl pot by OBP which bolts to 2 spare M6 captives on the strut tower and a brace bracket to the strut brace.
Bosch 044
Mocal -8 inline filter
All goodridge -6 connectors except pot through filter to pump is -8
Personally, best place for fuel fittings and hoses is think automotive, but once youve worked out how much of it you need, youll be bloody suprised by how much it all costs to do the job properly.

Yes matey, all bolted straight up.... but i did the drawings so id expect nothing less! haha :-)
The two M6 bolts that hold the swirl pot to the strut tower are a bit of a game to get started as theres not alot of access and ive got fingers like pigs t1ts .... otherwise its all good!
its all coming out for some powder coat in the next few days too.
