I was in talks with the seller, as I was under the impression the engine was fully forged, turns out its stock 2.5 block with a Nitrated crank, also the clutch is standard
I cant justify the ask price, I would sooner have had another 2.0 JDM block installed for my piece of mind that the unpinned 2.5.
Still a very nice car, im sure its worth the ask amount in parts alone. I'll keep an eye on it though if the price flutters i'll be on it like a rash!

Well if you want my two pennith!
From what I gather, the OP has bought the car, and after a few months is selling on for family reasons. The guy originally posted that it was a Cosworth Forged bottom end with 400/440. Its now up for sale claiming less bhp, but with Forged pistons and Nitrated crank. The seller has contacted Teg and it appears the bottom end is standard bar the crank. for that reason "i am out". As soon as I heard it might not have forged pistons and rods it was no longer worth the lowered ask price.

So i was right then! thats why it is mapped at low figures when it actually has a good spec- to preserve the Cadbury 2.5
Sounds like he was mis-sold a car then.......
