Default What a shame...

Shame to wreck such a car, IMO it should be in the same league as 22b if it is a real TRIAL one.

Yup it's the car from the Beasts from the East vid. There's a thread about it running on SIDC.

TBH its pre-accident condition doesn't look great....looks tired and well used for such a alleged 'rare' car (ignore the damage in the pics and look at the undamaged parts).

The state of the engine bay is enough to make me question if its actually genuine/original or not, hell for all we know it could have had a stock WRX block plonked in there.

Still, a two door shell though, which is always worth a few bob.

It says on the DVD it's a 2.2 motor 350bhp. It is a shame to see it in this condition even though it's not to everyones taste alot of work has gone into this car.

I remember this from a few years back, Not a bad price at the moment considering whats is fitted, Oil cooler, Rotated turbo, Front mount, Seats, Cage, Also depending on block/heads/ecu etc....They give it a £9.5k value pre accident but this is prob a little on the generous side

It would make an ideal donor car for a track project IMO, But a week before christmas, I`m out

Yeah seen that one, a bit short on info though, just tells you the bhp no mention of turbo or 2.2 motor.

Yeah 350 seems a bit low for twisted set up, but it was quite a few years ago. Looks to have had the dash converted to later v5 spec since the video.

While I am sure it was an impressive car mentioning it in the same breath as a 22B is just wrong!

Regardless of performance, it's another barry'd up mess with cheap tat stuck on it as well as a cereal box bodykit. Whoever likes that sort of **** needs their head checking (or moving across to a "cruize site innit blad").

Another inditement of the Subaru image

Fret not Andy that's an old old video, late nineties I think. The annoying voiced Hans Seeburg featured in the video. In it's day it was probably 'cool' but I wouldn't call it an indictment of the image as it's from yesteryear.

This thing is sort of on the same lines as a Koenig converted Ferrari 512TR

Ugly as sin and tasteless, but bloody hell does it shift and as rare as rocking horse poo.

Sorry fella and no offence but you are well off there with that statement. Trial Jp are in a different class to the **** over here who build Barry boy ****e. And at the time that was the scene in 90s Japan just like veilside etc were building. I'm not saying I like cars to look like that coz I don't, but respect is due for their effort and hard work.
