Sorry fella and no offence but you are well off there with that statement. Trial Jp are in a different class to the **** over here who build Barry boy ****e. And at the time that was the scene in 90s Japan just like veilside etc were building. I'm not saying I like cars to look like that coz I don't, but respect is due for their effort and hard work.
My opinion is it looks horrid and tacky, whether it's got 1,000,000bhp or a £100,000 body kit or not.
Horrible!

WR Pete- Nope,it is you who are well off the mark. It definitely is Barry boy bollox, just for extra stupid ones who have more than a giro to fund it with. Veilside are every bit as bad.
No respect due when their vision of the ultimate Subaru hurts the eyes as much as that and doesn't even have the go to go with the "show".
Chavtastic wankfest IMHO
Happy Christmas

P.S. This more like it - 600bhp and clean looking : http://www.totalcarmagazines.co.uk/w...skullfudge.jpg

You see Koenig, and Koenig owners tend to be of a certain, ahem, lets just say discerning taste, for example:
Would sir want something more subtle/practical for driving about guests or the family?.....

Yeah coz you can really compare cars built by chavs here, to ones built by big well respected tuning companies in Japan. Your missing the point fella. No one is saying it looks great and yes maybe you can compare the looks with some Barry boy crap here today, but on looks alone, certainly not the engineering side of actually designing a body conversion like that, I don't belive Trial sold fibreglass kits for every Tom Dick and Harry out there with a spray booth and a can of bog, so that alone makes it rare and special, it's from a different time so trying to compare it with today's tastes is just wrong. It's very easy to dismiss something as crap just coz you or whoever don't like it, but does that make it right.
I think not.

Ditto, why are we even discussing it? It looked **** when it was running properly, it's even worse now and it really wasn't all that performance wise.
Lads on here have built much better performing cars in their own garages and ones that don't look like a pre-pubescent schoolboy's doodlings either

I've been told Trial only made 5 complete kits. This was a stroked 2.0L from 1997, running a GT28 rotated setup. It made big power (for 1997). I love it... but I guess I'm biased.

How anyone can compare this with a Barry boy car it's hard to believe. Looks much better in a dark colour, if it wasn't for the bumpers and that bit on the side it wouldn't look much different from a 22b. ha ha flame suit on
