got a wrx uk300 been running around in it all day no problems at all come home phoned a takeaway went to go pick it up got in as usual and wont start?? not even firing just seems to turn over fast but no attempt of starting any ideas please guys.

cam sensor? little plug under the powersteering and aircon pumps. make sure its got a good connection. may have given up (im not expert but if thats faulty or not connected the car will just turn over but will no start up

Had a new cam sensor few weeks ago so shouldn't be that but who no's.

seems strange how you mention you had a new 1 and now it wont start have a play around with it see if its clipped in properly?

I hope it isn't a cambelt failure,the engine will turn over a lot faster when a failure happens as the compression is lost on most of the cylinders.

Hi, this happend to me when i did my mates hg,s i put one of the injector plugs on the cam sensor as i put the two black plugs together it took me a while to suss it out but it went first turn when swaped. like you i had fuel+spark but no start....you never know.

Ive just been out and wriggled all the plugs and wires about and hey presto fired
first turn! how random il have go thru every single wire tomorrow.
