Default Aaaaaaahhhhhhh broken window

Was fast a sleep this morning, I wasn't exactly alone if you get my drift, I'm kinda on the rebound. Any way I hear the doorbell going constantly so thought I can't really ignore it now it must be important.

Any way put some trackies on and went to open the door. I see the kid from down the road, he is a good kid but was out of breath etc. At first I though something had happened to his Dad as I know him. So tried to calm him and asked him what was wrong.

He said dark blue car windows smashed.

Immediately I knew what was wrong, I grabbed my bat and ran out. I saw glass all over the floor and in the car. I did something really stupid now that I look back on it. I pointed the bat at a passer by and said oi did you see who did this. Obviously they didn't as it probably happened in the early hours of the morning. I feel like such an idiot. How would I like it if a guy with nothing but trakies with a bald head was pointing a bat at me and asking questions. I wouldn't.

Went back to the house to calm down. Loads of people from the area started comming round to tell me my window had been smashed.

My Mum hears what has happened and she comes rouand to help.

Any ways I go out to my car to clean it up etc and more people come out to tell me what happened.

The guy who's house was closest to where the car was parked said he heared youths by my car and sent his son to have a look as there were other cars parked there as well. He said he saw them but couldn't really do anything.

I don't blame him at all when your faced by a group in the middle of the night and your by yourself what can you do.

Any ways the cops were called and guess what they haven't arrived yet. I haven't bothered to call them to say my car was broken into when they couldn't be arsed when it was getting broken into.

The funny thing is nothing was taken from the car.

I know my car is well known in the area. I didn't actually realise until the other day. Was waiting for my sister and some guys were walking past saying isn't that so and so car. The other guy goes it can't be its in the wrong area.

I remember thinking who could it be thats broken into my car. It can't have been oportunitists, it must have been someone local because the car has been sat there for over a week. I had a rough idea but thought to myself it can't have been them because most of them have been put in prison.

I was going through the area when I saw this guy starring at me hard so I stared back and slowed down so he knew I had acknowleged him and wasn't scared. I then realised it was the guy I initially suspected of breaking into my car looks like he is out of prison. It can't be conincidence.

Am I just being paranoid!!!!!!!!!!

I cut my hands trying to clear it up. I think they might have tried to take it on a joy ride but realised there was a tracker and it wouldn't start without an immobilier. Also the alrm is really load when it goes off. So they probably smashed the window realised they were way out of their depth and ran off.

Bad luck, at least the car is still there. A window from a scrappers isn't much, either.

Is there any other damage?

Must be so frustrating mate! Is there any CCTV cameras on anyone's houses down your street that could see anyone running away at that time?

Mate you'll be finding that **** for months now, back of the seats, behind the glovebox etc..... As said before atleast its still there. just be careful they don't comeback!! Had it happen with a few trucks in the past. They tried one night failed and came back to finish the job the following weekend.

Few CCTV but its funny that they don't want to get involved.

No point claming it will just send the premium through the roof.

Yeah I know what your saying but thankfully it was a full decat exhaust.

No way I saw the pics of that crash you had I remeber thinking it was a 'crash for cash' thing but read on further. People seem to target us because we have been branded as boy racers etc so police etc don't care at all.

I have now moved the car. I need to be even more carful because my blob could be next if I park it where it can't be seen.

Them stealing the car isn't an issue because it has a tracker and immobiliser etc so the car won't be going anywhere without the fob. Its the damage thats the issues I don't leave anything in the car. I don't have tints on the other car so that they can see there is nothing in the car.

Cleaning the glass is a pain in the **** like people have said it gets every where. Some of it looks like dust so I went to wipe it with my hand not thinking and it cut me really badly. You litteraly have to remove the seats etc to clean it.

I'm guessing it was just an opportunist incident as its the passenger side so they probably targeted the glovebox, if it was for a more sinister reason if would have been your drivers side. Don't forget it's Xmas soon and Sat Navs usually kept in gloveboxes make very good presents! Is there any sucker marks on your windscreen?

Gutting. Just be careful as once they've been to prison they seem to loose their fear of the police, so would think nothing of doing it again or even worse doing you some damage too.

Nothing on the windscreen. I don't use them. If I have to then I use my phone but just leave it on the seat lol.

It had crossed my mind but no one knew she was there.

The opportunitists had originally crossed my mind as well but as far as I can tell the glove box wasn't opened. If it was they went through the trouble of leaving everything else in there and closing it lol.

I think the only reason it was the passenger side was because that was the side on the pavement.

It did go off I think thats why they ran. Its really loud. It won't stop until the battery has run out or unlocked.
