cobra race tube
well im off to cobra exhausts tommorrow to get one of these put on my 450 bug sti, its goin to be mated with a full decatted japspeed system with the gt spec headers and im thinkin should i be doin it as iv seen so many people on here have ranted and raved about em then shortly after i keep seeing them up in the for sale section are they as loud as they say or is it something else why they sell on

I had one on my old standard classic WRX , sounded absolutely AWESOME i shall be ordering another no doubt about it !! Its definitely just for sale ad's due to the noise as the workmanship is good they are absolutely mental loud , MUCHOS louder than a nur spec , as in we had to check if my mates car was running when we were side by side me with a racepipe him wih a nur

its fitted and after a 2 hour drive home on the motorway im now semi def, these are stupidly loud my missus is goin to kill me when shes next in the car its childish but fun at the same time

If you have a classic, there is one in the for sale section, or give chocolate o brian a pm, it's his, i think he lasted about a month, but he's a dj in his spare time so is probably a bit mutton already, think he lost a bit more of his hearing range while he had it fitted, and by the sound of some of the tunes he's made his hearing aid is on the blink too

If you have a classic, there is one in the for sale section, or give chocolate o brian a pm, it's his, i think he lasted about a month, but he's a dj in his spare time so is probably a bit mutton already, think he lost a bit more of his hearing range while he had it fitted, and by the sound of some of the tunes he's made his hearing aid is on the blink too

I'd say they're louder than a Nur Spec, mine certainly seemed to be... different sort of sound though, the race tube is quite trebbly where the Nur Spec is mostly bass.
It got a bit tiresome on long journeys.
