ummm also 4 wheel alignment/cambers needs to be spot on mate
wind the dccd a notch or 2 in the wet helps if you want to keep the back end in shape with a bit heavy throttle, i on the other hand coming from driving a lot of rear wheel drive cars prefer to keep the diff in open lol
Jay
yea wasn t ready for it i never thought at 45 in straight line would kick rear end out . would be fun but scared of bending it lol. pradas aint best in wet lol but in dry very good.scared me more than my skyline in wet lol

Had the proxes t1-r on mine with plenty of tread and found they let go fairly easily in the wet but I think with 385 lb/ft of torque it was going to happen no matter what was on it

im surprised it dosent do it in the dry with that power in a type r.
Yep mine does it as well. Toyo's here too. I usually put a couple of clicks forward on the DCCD when its a bit wet which helps a bit. Just have to get used to it and improve your throttle control

no question
how did you find playing with the dccd help you along ?
It did make a difference playing around with the dccd although I did like the tail happy driving, I've since gone 6 speed without dccd and hopefully more than 400 lb/ft
the **** end of my type r is always kickin out, thats the joy of having a type r,totally differnt drive to a standard 4 wheel drive subaru,
if it gets scary flick the dccd switch up a couple of notches and that should square her up.practice wont make it perfect but it helps lol
Took mine for a blast yesterday after the battery went flat for not driving it for over 2 weeks due to being in the states where i had to endure a 3.0l V6 dodge Auto on the wrong side of the road, lol, I must remember to get it in a straight line before planting my foot to the floor, Its not just Type-R`s you know
