Read April/May Banzai ! These guys in Oxfordshire (no advertising) build up an engine from a basic UK lump, with those genuine figures - which makes a 22B look a bit tame !
2.2 crank, cossie pistons, rods, heads, cams, exhaust manifolds, Motec ecu are the basic ingedients. (You may need to add brakes to the shopping list !!).
So instead of trading in, tune up.
(I wonder what the insurance would be on that ??? )
Now, where did I leave the piggy bank ?

It's interesting that these figures were taken from the Superchips RR (allegedly), and that the same company only managed about about 340bhp, running 1.9bar on a bench dyno, with a similar spec' engine (very well known 22b owner, mate of Mr. McRay).

Wonder how much boost they are wacking through this one !!!!!

Just want to make the point mark that Moray corrected you using my laptop which had my user name and password in it. I had no idea about the speling of McRae and wouldn't have bothered with such a facetious post, but hey, Moray Mackenzie is a right ***
