I was asking Autospotif about this car last week... being the doubter that I am and here's the spec:
Original 1997 UK spec. 2.0Ltr. turbo.
Engine - 2.2Ltr. 383bhp @ 6100rpm, 380 lb/ft torque @ 4000rpm. Autosportif
long stroke steel crankshaft, steel con rods, Cosworth pistons, gas flowed
cylinder heads, reprofiled cams, lightened flywheel, baffled sump pan, big
injectors, hybrid turbo, silicone turbo hoses, 4-branch equal length exhaust
manifold, 75mm dia. stainless steel exhaust system, Motec M48 ECU, max rpm
8200, top speed in excess of 160mph. Additional Bosch fuel pump +
anti-surge tank.
Brake - Brembo 4-pot front with 330mm drilled AP discs. STI Ver.VI rear.
Radius R3 7.5"x17" wheels with Pirelli PZero tyres.
Body/Interior - JUN front lip spoiler. STI Ver.V boot spoiler. Leather
seats & door trims.
Suspension - STI dampers with Autosportif rate springs + roll bars.
The car has only done 20,000 genuine miles, engine done 3,000 miles. Full
service history.
If annyone is seriously interested (they've got little time for dreamers ) give Martyn Spurrell a call at Autosportif on 01869 345626 if that's busy then call 01869 346900.
Going throught the spec I think 380 brake is reasonable, provided that they've got a decent intercooler on there. I'd suspect that the figures came from Superchips rollers if that gives you any idea of how 'real' they are
Cheers,
Tim

How much would it cost for those engine mods!
If its Superchips - can anyone convert to Powerstations likely figures?
The torque looks plausible? - running with water injection at least! - but 383hp?

Cem = Funny bloke
Superchips rollers in my experience are usually around the middle between Powerstation and Power Engineering. I would estimate 365bhp and 370 lb/ft on Powerstations rollers.
But hey, we will never find out
Cheers

Why not?
I am now going to just rely on Powerstation as a benchmark as a recent event day resulted in some unusual results! (ie lots more mods over standard but a reduction in torque!)
Next on my list is water injection and ELMH, then if I'm still bored its the full engine internals I'm afraid - something I would have done last summer if a certain Pete Croney had not nicked my spot at Warrens!

Craig and you forgot...it is less like the ilegitamate love child of a Massey Furguson and HMS Ark Royal
(ie doesn't sound like a tractor or look like a Harrier should be taking off from it)
