Anyone know where Mike from Scoobyworld has gone to? I have just booked my car in for a service next friday (18th) and i've been told he's no longer with them - found it odd as I thought he was the gaffer and wondered if he'd set up on his own?

 

He left and went to RCM I see him most nights as he drops parts off at my house.

 

I wondered where/why he'd left. Would you recommend Rcm over scoobyworld? I now know why scoobyworld are wanting a £20 dep for all work

I see you are in Nottingham I live in Long Eaton and travel here to Chesterfield every day we are just off M1 Jctn 29 why not give us a try, we don't charge deposit's on bookings.

Blimey, this is odd news. I'm off to RCM tomorrow so will see if he's there for a chat.

Mike left us a several weeks back to go to RCM. He wasn't the owner/director etc here, he looked after parts and sales alongside us. As with any business people come and go, but its business as usual. Myself and Wendy started the business as Directors 10 years ago and have run it ever since.

Charging small deposits for workshop bookings has been our practice for the past 3 years, prior to that the amount of 'no-shows' were getting silly, and costing us wasted workshop time and money. Never had any complaints it since we started it.

Thanks for the message but Chesterfield is too far away from my part of the world....i'm south Notts so it would take me too long to get up that way. Still very happy with everyone @ scoobyworld (even without Mike) so until they let me down (I hope they don't) i'll stick with them for now. Cheers
