Default fitting of front splitter on blobeye

hello all.
received my dj carbon front splitter and was just trying to get some information on the best way of fitting. self tapper screws? nuts and bolts?
any infromation greatfully received as i have never fitted one before.

Nuts & bolts plus lots of no more nails.

Is it easy to remove the front bumper as it might be easier to do this, fit splitter and then but bumper back on??

cable ties so that you dont rip your front bumper of when your splitter breaks

(trust me Im now on my 7th one)

used self tapping screws and fixings (bit like nut and bolt but without the hassle)

using the screw you can feel the point once through then just pop the fixing on and tighten off gives quite a solid fix. agree having someone to help make life easier.


though as H says you run the risk of greater damage if you hit the splitter. though with a carbon fibre one you will be extra carefull lol. thinking of getting one of these myself.

I have a mate who can help to.
I used to use a combination of cable ties and bolts, but these days just cable ties tbh (mine were not the carbon fibre, more expensive ones tbf)

Cheers all. Think I'll use the nuts bolts, cable tie and self tappers. Different things in the different place to get it to sit just right.
