Just had to post another glowing report about Tyres Northampton....

Today, they've fitted new tyres to my rally car, done all the work for the MOT and got it MOT'd, they've also fitted new brake pads to my scoob, all in a few hours!

The new workshops are superb also (first time I've seen them since they were finished a week ago), and the guys were as helpful and efficient as ever.

It is REALLY rare to find such a great combination of expertise, facilities and customer service.

It's great to come away from spending money with a company feeling happy that you did.

It was also cool to bump into two other scoobynetters while I was there. If you haven't been down already, I would strongly recomend it, they really know Scoobs and really know how to look after customers.

Thanks lads, keep up the good work!

best regards

Simon

PS. These are the guys that support us at track days also.

Question

Simon

Another glowing report !!!

Slightly off your topic, how do you insure your rally car, i'm having a mare trying to sort it on a clubman spec sapphire? I'm getting quoted £1300 on a 1500 mile per year policy, a lot for a toy.

Skip.

I use Competition Car Insurance (Egger Lawson), always have. They are the best that I know of. I get very good rates, but I've insured with them for YEARS and never claimed. Build up a good relationship with them and they'll look after you.

When did you get the cossie? Done anything with it yet? Drop me an email if you like on simon@scoobynet.co.uk

All the best

Do they do technical things to the engine? Tring to find the source problem for my overboost for example before I pay out for a Link ECU, or HKS EVC IV??

Rikki

Yes they do, but... they will always be honest and tell you if you would be better off going elsewhere.

The best thing to do is phone Mark or Elvis on 01604 588599, and tell them what the problem is.

All the best

Tyres Northampton - it's all been said before, but they really are the best.

They say that you buy people, not products, and I think that's the key. TNH really know their Scoobs, their products and their customers. Best prices, too.

Great service either at their superb new workshops or at the trackside. When Mark, of Tyres NH, told me that people travel hundreds of miles to use them, now I know why.

Nobody else is getting my nuts off in future Sorry, bad pun, but I guess you get my drift.

More impresive than Si eating a burger is Mark of TNH sinking his first pint after a hard day supporting us at dono. LOL

Great service always, also a great sense of humour and no bull****.

Cool

Just got back from Tyres Northampton. 300 mile round trip but worth it. (Justified the trip by visiting relatives in the area).

Excellent service and great price + tolerable coffee

SO2's a little slippy initially but after 150 miles they feel much better.

Good to hear some positive feedback for a change (especially from a number of people).

Simon et al,

What range of products/srvices do they sell and what are they're prices like? Any examples?

Cheers,
Tom

Never used TNH myself, my only experience of them was Elvis working on the rally car at Enstone last year.

Simon, I and others all hiding under the awning while Elvis stands out in the howling rain and wind changing an alternator (amongst other things). This was one of the worst weather days of the year, trees coming down, cold, really heavy rain etc.

He was always enthusiastic, never moaned (unlike Simon ), worked like a demon and was truly professional.

Cool

Hi Guys,
It is really nice to feel appreciated
and all of us at Tyres Northampton work extremly hard at trying to keep you all happy.
We all appreciate the support and loyalty you show us, and we will always try to do our best to keep providing the service and competative prices.
Ok we are quick but nobody could possibly fit tyres and brake pads as quick as SDB can eat a Burger King!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, I must point out that at Tyres Northampton we do have the World Record holder for fittin tyres, and we also have now a new member of our trusted team who holds the World Record for fitting clutches.
Myself and Malc really appreciate all the support you guys give to us and we really hope you keep spending your dosh with us!
Anyway Thanks Again
MARK (TYRES NORTHAMPTON)

yup, I've got to add my recommendation here as well.

I popped in at lunchtime today to get a wheel balanced and it had happened before I blinked and then they wouldn't accept any dosh for the job !

can't see how it can be better than that really

Loads of people from work use them for tyres, MOT's etc and I haven't heard a bad word. 10 out of 10 !

Andy.
