Hi chaps,
First post here so take it easy on me!!

Spotted a gorgeous WRX this morning and it tempted me seriously!
It was Blue (Mica?) with colour coded quad light kit, and anthracite grey 18" wheels, and a large rear wing.

Is this a special edition or just one someone has created? What sort of cost would I be looking at to get a new shape one looking like this?

Any recommended places to look for one?

Sorry for all the questions but thanks in advance.

Sounds like it's a WRX that somebody has modded. You can expect to pay just short of £22k for a UK model or look at some of the import places on the web where you should be able to get a euro import (Which is full uk spec anyway!) for a little over £17k.Even better, you can do the work yourself (Dead easy anyway!) and contact a belgian/dutch dealer and get one for around £16k depending on exchange rates! (That should include road tax/uk vat so basically an on the road price)
Once you get the car,18in wheels will set you back around £1100 - £1400 and the spoiler fully painted, anything up to £600.
You can have a butchers at my MY01 which has 18's etc,etc here
Think that lot should answer your questions!!!

Nick

Was it a new shape car or classic shape?

If classic shape then it could have been a P1 with morettes on it, or jap import STi, as I think only the P1's came in blue mica (sonic blue?)

If new age then it could be a custom creation. Hell, there's so many things you can do it's hard these days to tell what a standard model looks like

It was a new shape one - I am in two minds whether to get a used M3 or a new/much newer WRX.... Probably the wrong place to say that!!

Hi and welcome

Sounds like a WRX with morrettes and P1 wheels. Doubt it was a UK300 (special edition) coz of the spoiler - UK300 has a 'Thunderbirds-type' spoiler.

You're looking at about £19K for a new one, nad you've got two choices - either a UK dealer or import it (most popular place seems to be Holland)... you'll also get it cheaper if you import it. Make sure it's a European car - you'll get the warrantee etc that way.

For details of cars, try www.subaru.co.uk and look for the car prices (new & used). This covers the entire dealer network across the UK.

Hope this helps

Dan

Just had a look at those pics and it looked very much like the two blue ones in there, with those headlights and similar wheels but in grey - How much are the headlights?

Is there any interior pics knocking around anywhere?

Thanks again
