Hi all, havnt been on here for a long time as i sold my impreza. just been offered a xreg p1 with only 27k and one owner from new, totally standard and immaculate throughout. Havnt got a clue what its worth or what i should pay for it. any ideas would be appreciated!!
havnt had much luck with imprezas in the past, had a couple of engines blow on me, i did wonder about the engine, the chap that owns the p1 is no youngster, and its never been driven hard.did wonder about a remap !!
if its genuine with genuine milage id pay between 10-12k keep it original and low miles and it will be worth a fortune in years to come
Not true. The only Subaru that will hold its value from now on will be the 22B. Was on a car collectors website a few months ago and the 22B was one of only 11 cars thats value was going to go up over the next few year.

So a low mileage Series Mcrae will continue to depreciate? A P1 with low miles will become 2k one day.
Don't talk wet, ALL cars increase in value over the years, its just a matter of keeping them in good, original condition and keeping the mileage down.

I can't see the price of the P1 being anywhere near as resilient as the 22B, looking at what I paid for my Type R three years ago when I was also looking at P1's, it does seem that the prices of P1's have fallen a hell of alot quicker than the price of the Type R's.
That's because Type R's hit rock bottom before the P1, the P1 is getting to that point now and, mark my words, will slowly increase as will the Type R.

Listen mate, these are not my words (if you read my post properly). When you drive a car off the showroom floor it starts loosing value. Sure my moms 1303 Beetle is worth more now than when it was released but with fuel costs going up and electric cars in demand only the very special will increase value. But, I am not here to argue, collecting cars is not my field of expertise. As we stand now a RB5, P1 and the great 22B still cost less than the day they was released.
