Default Advice needed regarding my scooby

I unfortunately have a wife who has only an automatic license so a turbo one is out the window so next best i bought her a 52 reg impreza 2.0 GX automatic which as you probably know has a lot of the same things as a wrx front lights interior spoiler etc etc i have just bought a set of 17 inch wheels from a bugeye turbo one but my question is can you by buying an exhaust get the similar burbling subaru sound i love of a turbo one as it is a bit quiet and you must feel sorry for me as i can only have a automatic non turbo one ? also wheres the best place to buy a system or back box an can you recommend any in particular many thanks

ive got an auto TTB forester (Touring Turbo) selling it if you are interested and its already got a nice backbox

you can get an exhaust to get a Similar sound but its not close to the same.

Think the manifold needs changing on a non turbo to get close to the burble.

Jura on here was running an auto box with paddle shift fitted I think. Would suit you perfectly.

Hi matey

Automatic gearbox on Impreza,Forester are OK,i've run mine at 350bhp(now i'm selling Autobox, this box is tiptronic +/-)

Personally i wouldn't brother with non-turbo,you can buy cheaply WRX with manual and swap there Autobox(price for labor from £200)and you have nice WRX with automatic gearbox.

I've run mine with JDM Tiptronic 4EAT,which has been probably best thing which i've drive(nice in traffic and really fast shifting on the road)

If you are need more infos about the automatic gearboxes, just ask here...

the trouble i have is this car is a genuine 40,000 mile example one old boy owner from new and full main dealer history new brakes all round and these sorts of cars are hard to find she likes it and thats half the battle ! and i love this shape so it made sense, but as for swapping boxes i think it would be a lot more expense than i am prepared to do i do racing and have a car sales business so always got so much to fork out for i would just like a decent exhaust system on this one so it sounds better lol even the wife said it needs to be a bit louder and she knows nothing about cars ! can i get a system for it maybe from cat back or a decat pipe aswell ?

Tiptronic 4EAT is same like Automatic, just have few more functions like Shifting on steering wheel +/-(or on gearbox +/-),that's it.
