Advice- 2005 wrx - using a jack ??
Guys the new 2005 wrx blobeye I have here has been fitted with sti skirts and has been lowered, what is the normal procedure with regards using the jack etc with the skirts in place ??
better just to buy a cheap 2 ton trolley jack such as this one :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-TON-CAR-...item1e64c1a2be
if using the trolley jack where is the safest place on the wrx to locate this for lifting ??
thanks

The best place to jack is under the front subframe ( in the middle just behind engine ) and the rear diff. You will need a low profile jack for the front but the back should be OK with most jacks.

yeah just dont use a cheapo trolley jack on sills or chissis legs
i always place a thin-ish bit of wood between the jack and car anyway so that the jack doesnt "dig" into the metal in anyway.
