Jennychem's Meth is also sold for use in Biodiesel, and not racing, however this is what everyone uses it for, at least on here lol.

however, Trinity also do racing Grade meth that they claim is more refined.

but over 205 ltrs for £215

Think i will use the cheaper option lol

In answer to my own question, Trinity sell race spec methanol @ £215 for 205l!!!! So quite a bit more than Jenny Chem.

the Methanol from JennyChem is only Bio Diesel Grade NOT Race, so i have to agree that Trinity-Research are cheaper.

But will depend on selling a few things though to afford the map, hence asking about % of meth people run so i can decide how much to go for.

Answer to a few questions above, I now use a 205L drum with Syphon pump, purhcased from Trinity for £140 delivered, its £150 on eBay sold with some other chemicals that you wont need unless your making Diesel (dont think you impreza would be happy with that lol). I run 20% meth, which is 4 parts Vpower, 1 Part methanol. So I usually run down to around 1/4 tank of fuel, and fill up with 20L vpower, and one full 5L Jerry can of meth which takes me to around 3/4 tank full. Ps I have to say that where Eggy and Banny get there meth from is by far the cheapest option, but its a good 2hr return drive for me ;( hence I have now started with 205L delivered.

your well wrong there the meth jennychem sell is pure as it gets I use it in a pro class drag car and we are fuel checked at every fia event the race meth has additives and you can even get it with fruit smells but its mega expensive from a race fuel distributer im paying about 110 for 205 litres but i usualy get 6 drum a time
we run pure meth and have run jennychem for many years
6.07@232 mph in the 1/4 3.96@185 in the eighth in a car with doors,
so it sure isnt crap.......

remember what ever they say its good for is just marketing speil
read the drum its 99.something percent pure

i use Bonneymans, seems to be £5 dearer at £105, but the drum it comes in is metal, that 1 from trinity looks like its plastic? Maybe just a bad picture

I ended up buying from Trinity, 205L for £135 inc next day delivery.... Under 66p per litre

Ive used Trinity before for exactly the same purchase, and the plastic drum is very durable, and wont damage the meth in my experience.

It's going to cost you mpg because you need to use more mixture (13% I think)

Oh! I was hoping that as Rob Day above has said the methanol is costing him 66p a litre, that it would work out cheaper per mile than using v power.

Well it is cheaper than VPower so if you run a 20% mix there is a saving to be made on each fill up. Make sure you are mapped for it though.

You didn't ask if it was cheaper, you asked if it would affect your mpg.
Yes it's cheaper per tank full, but the combustion properties of meth mean that you use more fuel per bang.
