I have just bought X** SRT as many of you will know X28 won the monte under tommi's guidance. I wanted the front plate to be a sticker mounted on the lower lip of the bumper on my STI7, another words where the rally car has its placed. Is this sticker and positioning legal?

I was with Dan Fisher last year when he got stopped by the Police in London for having exactly what you are suggesting on his car - they weren't impressed, so I'd be careful if you were to do this. The real concern is that it gives them an excuse to 'pull' you.
BTW - good to know someone else shares our taste in number plates

No it will not be legal, when the subaru world rally cars are used in Wales on the Rally of Great Britain they actually have a different number plate on them, one you can visually see from the front.

Chris L look like you must be fairly close, stortford or harlow perhaps, often wondererd about a north essex meet around the stanstead area as i'm over in the Braintree area. Thanks for the help with plate advice, what do i have to do when the certificate comes thorough, head for the registartion office with what?

I've just changed mine.. you need certificate, V5, MOT and tax disk.. oh and payment, unless you paid for it all up front.. its all in the documentation that comes with the certificate
