Today's is the day!
Some of you may remember my post back in April (Perhaps?) when I bought a 2.0r Hawkeye to get round the problem with insurance due to my being 19.. well.. today (and it is today, it's past midnight now ) is the day I finally get the insurance (20 years old, my birthday.. today.) to drive her! I'm absolutely ecstatic and can't wait for the morning I'm going to be driving around waving at every Subaru that goes past.
Just thought I'd share the excitement with you all, woo hoo! How did everyone feel when they drove their first scooby? :3.
My post back in April, time went so fast :3.

Just looking to change the exhaust muffler now.. had a look at some Cobra ones but I'm really unsure.. was inspired by the official "Subaru Sports Muffler" which sounds great but.. 350 smackers. We'll see, for now, I'll just drive .

Hmm.. was thinking about those but I'm gonna see how I go.. insurance is already through the roof!
That is mine yeah! Forgot that was in the background, here's a better pic with them together:
Bit into rallying me. Me Dad got me into Escorts as he's got an RS2000 so we go to show's n that together. Good bonding experience.. and well... a fantastic car to drive all in all . Great fun.
Thanks for the tip Jimbob, I'm going to be driving like a scared kitten don't you worry.

Happy birthday.
On my way home from the dealer I was like " how long am I going to keep my license"
That is 6 years ago and still have both car and license, as others mention don't get carried away and floor it until you are sure what is going to happen... oh and ENJOY!

Thanks all! And thanks for the kind comments about the cars . Both my pride and joys, both rather different to drive!
Escort Mexico is a fully standard, genuine example from 1973 for anyone who is interested! I take it to lots of shows so if you see it, come say hi .
@MattyB. Yeah the scooby is a 2.0 non turbo. Due to insurance costs (20k I was quoted at one point!) I had to go for non turbo. But still.. Ive driven it around now and I'm officially in love, easily puts a smile on my face the whole way. And don't worry I was careful! My Dad got me a tank of fuel for my birthday so we'll see how long it takes..
