Just wondering what use all do for a living ... so i can give myself a wee boost,I hope to get a scooby soon, Anyways im currently an apprentice engineer and when qualified ill be on hopefully 22-24k, just wondering if anyone else out there on this budget( or less if u wanna really cheer me up) has a scooby on a budget like this.I really dont know not alot about them just i like them and ive had a shot of a few as my good friends drive some (P1,2000 turbo's) and so on. Thats why im on here to get the knowledge of them, (prices etc.) thanks for youre time.

It's the insurance prices you need to be worried about. I couldn't find any insurance company that would take me on for less than £2500!!! (I was 22 when I took the insurance out, and the Scoob is my first car).

Depends on what other monetary factors you have to think about too (House, pets . . . . wife ).
If you aren't too stretched already, then theres nothing to stop you . . . do it . . . . do it now !
Just make sure you understand everything that comes with it like servicing costs, daily running costs, petrol (), mods
Have a read about on here and you'll soon see what sort of additional costs you can expect.
But above all, remember . . . .
A Scoobs for life, not just for Christmas

DJ Dunk,
How true, but remember, I may have said I couldn't find insurance for under £2500...but it didn't stop me buying a Scoob anyway. Damn these cars are addictive!

I'm an engineering student. I pay about 1500 quid a month. I've heard of stories though where younger scoobs drivers pay less than me. But then again, I do have a jap import..

92 WRX. But thats probably because I told my insurance companies that I'm putting/have put some mods in it. In a few days time I'll be joining the 1337 Dawes club courtesy of Jamie. Oh and I'm only 24.
oops, I meant a year.
