Red face Webuyanycar just offered me £183

For my '99 STi wagon.

I'm kind of a bit disappointing.

It's got a few cosmetic marks and has no service history from Japan, but that still seems a bit 'low ball'.

/that was online BTW

Its because it has been seen at National Front rallies!

Only kidding, that is laughable. I'll give you £200!

Make sure you unsubscribe to their email 'service', they'll drive you crazy.

I think they expect the desperate to be looking to sell their cars for whatever cash they can get. Its worth 2k all day, and I've not even seen it!

Webuyanycar are part of the Carcraft group. I used to like browsing at the Carcraft supermarket close to where I live until I found they were Webuyanycar. The price,s they offer are really ripping people off.

They are a business and are after a turnover. Anything that is likely to be a slow to sell car will fetch less. The whole point is buy, tart where necessary, and resell through the web or supermarkets and try to get finance commission to boot.

With the cost of fuel and insurance, scoobies are difficult to push in the general Market so will be very difficult to generate profit for them. Hence the price.

Not rocket science, just used car logic at work.

Guess what I used to do many years ago........

Red face

All cars that are 6yr old plus go on sale in carcrafts own trade sale
The newer ones very rarely get sold through carcraft supermarkets and mostly get shipped off to auctions apart from the odd 1 or 2.

I used to work for carcraft, and there must be some desperate sellers
as i've seen webuy bring in cars from 08 plate range rovers, jag xkr's, etc right down to L reg fiestas
