i dont have any idea!
i just bought this 2002 sti a weak ago, and the X-owner told me that he had put on it a cheep brakes coz he doesn't race and doesn't go so fast,,, and coz the brembos were 400 $,
so he put a cheep 70 $ brakes WHICH THEY SQUEAL ALLLLL THE TIME

Sounds like he put cheap pads on as well. "Buy cheap buy twice" get some descent discs and pads on mate.

On my bug the guy who had it before me put really cheap disks on the rear and it completely cooked the disk till it shattered ... I recommend you change them ASAP ... Look on camskill, Scooby parts or give Eurospec 2000 a call dude

My genuine brembo Pads on my Bug STI used to squeal like a bitch in slow moving traffic moving round town, used to be embarasing when pulling up to junctions etc.

hi guys,

i know tha on my 02 sti, tha the front & rear brakes squeal when the pads r low, there is a metal piece attached to the pads, tha touches the discs to make the squeal noise to let u know when to change em....

WELL,,,,,,,,,,today My STI's Engine just BOOOOOOOMED BECOZ
I HAVE AN EVC ON THE CAR AND MY FRIEND WHO USED TO HAVE A WRX, HAD CHANGED THE NUMBERS ON THE EVC AND PUT THEM TO 1.5 BAR((i didnt knw that!!!)),,,,,,AND THE ENGINE COULD NOT HANDLE ALL THIS PRESSURE AND,,,,,,,BANG,,,,,,,, IT IS NOW JUST A PEACE OF CRAP METAL

im so sad,,,, i cant afford a new engine coz they told me it costs about 2000$

I BOUGHT IT 2 WEEKS AGO,,,,,,,,,,,,,AND I LOST HER NOW I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT CAN I DO :'(
