Scoobyworks opinions?
Hi everyone,
My scooby is due a cambelt change and i was wondering what peoples opinion was with scoobyworks?
I live in Northamptonshire and im a 2minute drive from the subaru dealer but their prices scare me right off!
Its a bit of a drive for me to scoobyworld but if people could recommend them i dont mind.
Or if there is another specialist in my area that anyone would recommend it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
I have my 2003 STI serviced and all Mod's carried out by ScoobyWorks. I find them very professional and really friedly and helpfull. Their prices seem to be really competetive as well. I have had numerous work carried out some big jobs and have never had a problem, Also they usually can get you booked in a short notice. Very happy with them. Hope this helps.
Cheers

I had my cam belt done, and thank god I did. They informed me the last time it was done was a tooth out. I had only had the car a week or so and just wanted piece of mind, and I'm glad I went to a specialist.
Get ready to make a shopping list while you are there, because I did, I have some bits already but going for buying all my bits over the next few months and then fittment of all and a remap. But I think what with Xmas coming up it is going to get there in 6 ish months.

Oh no!! Real lucky you decided to get it done! I can see a shopping list being created while im there, especially as i will be there a while. Just out of interest how long did it take them to do your cambelt?
I think this time round i will get the belt and oil change and maybe a boost gauge and pillar pod fitted. I'll be broke then! No harm in planning my next mods while im there though!

They dropped (lost) my turbo's R-clip that holds the w/g arm to the penny valve. And they didn't replace it; or at least let me know about it! (Found this out when I got home to put the heat shield back on).
But I'm not gonna hold that against them. Seem competent enough.

Had my car for about 6 hours but I also had 3 gauge pod fitted with prosport gauges. Cam belt and oil change, 3 hours maybe.
I went for a walk into town, about 15 min walk away. Then came back and had a chat about future mods. Very helpfully indeed.

Hey joz, i guess no one is perfect!! haha
Cheers L&G i may walk into town then, bit too long to just sit around.
Just got back from MOT station, the old girl failed on a rear shock. Made me laugh though because the only advisory was:
'Non-standard exhaust (Noisey)'!! Good old afterburner!! haha
Thanks for all the replies everyone
