Trip from Glasgow to Mablethorpe

Default Trip from Glasgow to Mablethorpe

We are going to Mablethorpe for our holiday on friday and are travelling from Glasgow.I was wondering where i would get vpower along the way.

The route will be M74,M6,A66,M1,A1 i think?

Also any tips for long distance driving in the scoob

If you have a smart phone there is an APP for Shell Petrol Stations ,Iphone or Andriod!

You can view shell stations on route with V-Power through their website if you don't have a smart phone;

Worth having a scan and working out distances between stations. I did that from my trip from Plymouth to Ayr.

If using Satnav you can download the Shell station locations as favourites and instal on your Tomtom.

I,am just back from thorpe park and live in glasgow there are plenty of petrol stations on the way its a 5 hour journey there is a bad stretch of road for about 20 miles best travel back at night its quieter

i went m74,a66,a1,m62,m180 this should take you just under 5 hours use the tomtom route planner, the a1 has major roadworks for about 15 to 20 miles average speed camera,s down to a 50

Easier, definately, the A66 can be notorious, well so can the M62 but its more constant and easier, you miss out the A1 which can also be a real pain, just avoid rush hour and the route I put down will be a far nicer one and you can over take too
