Why would anyone want to go to Bargoed?

I take it your going M50, A449, A40, A465? Just be wary of speed camera vans when you get to God's country.

Fill up in Chester, then head down the M54, over to shrewsbury, down to hereford, over to Merthyr Tydfil (my parents live in Nelson which is a few miles from Bargoed)

Go cross country which is 30 minutes longer, but will save you 60 - YES SIXTY miles each way.
