Worst
1. 2.9k on a 50" Toshiba RPTV back in 2001
2. 4.5k on a W plate T2000 with 1 previous owner, FSSH..... no service history, 3rd owner - paid about 1.5k more than other honest cars at the time.
3. The Escort I bought from a dealer which when serious problems started and I looked at the receipt, I saw that after I signed it he had scribbled "no warrenty given or implied - sold as a collection of spare parts only"
No bargains yet....

My first car - a fiesta 1.4 bought for £500 (later upgraded by me age 17 with high lift cam, valve springs, air filter, split fire spark plugs, Pico exhaust). Was faster than 1.6 Fiesta XR2
Sadly the bottom end coudn't handle 70mph in second gear and let go 6 months later, lol
Worst
AEG 14950 washer dryer, noisy piece of sh1te that creases

worst: £2k corner sofa from scs watford , spend ages choosing one found this nice fabric , big cushioned , chillout **** sofa , great . took out a years warranty when purchaced . 6 months in all the stitching is fraying , 2 cushoins have got 4 inch holes in and the seams are coming apart , had an scs rep come out to have a look , it turns out that the fabric hasnt been double seamed on all cushions causing the threads to come away from the edges , guess what ...... the warranty doent cover fraying plus the guy suggested that we caused the holes !! because we love cutting up new sofas DICK !
been battleing it out with them but to no resolve they are not prepared to do anything as his report suggested that we had caused the damage .
so looks like we are fooked there .
best : my wagon £1900 for a 30k mile car with full history and lots of sti goodies
