Name that car !!!!!!
Just a bit of fun "Name this car" ! was down the garage today after a cracking respray ready to go to owners garage for full refurbishment.

saphire ghia as a donar car, for a rotten saphire cossie shell. This will be a fantastic show car when completed and quick too !

Wow, that's a blast from the past.
I knew a guy with a lotus sunbeam but that was at least 20 years ago IIRC.
What a pity to see it allowed to deteriorate to that extent

Ok I have one for you.
A few clues first,,,
It's one of only 2 in the world, I have this one and the other is in a sorry state somewhere in Switzerland.
It has a 2.5 V8 engine.
Was built in 1962 in Britain.
I'll be very impressed if anybody manages to guess what it is.

You obviously know your stuff fella, well done.
Yes, very very car. Only two were ever built, they planned to do 5 but for unknown reasons only did 2.
I am fortunate to own the only 'usable' one. The other car is totally original and in a poor state. My father restored this car back to it's former glory shortly before he passed away.
I'm looking forward to the article, it was quite a day meeting Mr Karen.
