I know what your sayin it pisses you off, they seem to think you will let them loose in your impreza for a free ride when simply they have no intention of buying it. Yeah i remember being 18 and trying to insure an impreza turbo (I got a quote for £9000 )

Tell them you want to see insurance first and bet most of them wont turn up.

carefull you dont shoot yourself in the foot there mate...

....im pretty young, and I look about 12 lol. Yet iv owned a blobeye WRX for nearly a year now. I remember walking onto a forecourt last year and looking at scooby, and the salesmen didnt even bother to come over, so i walked away. Their loss at the end of the day.
Same thing with a mate of mine, when he was 19 he was earning around 70k and thought about buying a lotus....salesman wouldnt give him the time of day because of his age....so he took his money elsewhere.
There is plenty of young scooby drivers out there.

Wouldn't say the age matters too much!

I'm 22 and just brought a 2003 Blobeye Wrx Insurance is my Choice to pay! Which is currently 185 a month till the end of November.

***** waving about who owns what at what tender young age aside, it's very important that you INSIST on seeing documentary proof of fully comprehensive insurance before you let anyone take the car for a test drive: don't let them blag about a "trade policy etc" or "being allowed to drive the cars of other people on their policy" The latter will be 3rd part cover only.

No insurance = you will be conducting the test drive. End of!

I'm insured fully comp but that doesn't cover me to drive any other vehicle. If I want to add that they wanted another £800!!!

I told them to swivel.
