Default subaru vandalism

someone kindly keyed up my car it would seem, it can’t be door damage from another car as it’s the wrong orientation, can it be fixed cheaply does anyone think or am I'm better off sourcing a door from a donor car?,

the police are going through cctv to see if they can identify the person/s - I don’t think they'll be lucky,

thanks in advance guys

Arseholes! Looks like a handbag scrape.

Someone keyed my car from rear quarter, rear door, front door, front wing and bonnet. I was not a happy chappy. Got most of it polished/T-cut out but one of the doors is too deep to cut it out :@

You got the police to actually look into it ?

Well done, hope they find them ... not that they will do anything if they do ..

Heres to them dying in a painful car crash involving only them ..

yeah its a real blow thanks guys, I hope somethign comes of the cctv footage - its deep and needs repainting no tcut will do anything as its rubbing compound isnt it? dont fancy getting it sprayed due to paint mismatch and cost on mica green pearlescent - I think a replacement doors going to be the way , I could never do that to someones car

Gutted mate. I know the feeling. Someone threw paint on my car then not long after every single panel got keyed.

Too many haters

PS Your one does not look bad at all. Easy DIY fix & it will look new

The scratch looks too deep to polish out IME, and the dent is quite big, but a decent painter could sort it no probs for around £100 i would say, good excuse to get any other damage/stone chips done at the same time.

Abit of putty filler, then wet & dry. Primer, wet & dry, paint & lacquer the scratched area. Once all that is done just buff it in with compound.

I understand man. All four doors, one wing, bonnet and both rear quater panels got done on mine. Very deep aswell. Got quoted over 2k for a respray. Too many jealous people out there that are dimented.

Took me 4 days to repair the whole car then after 2weeks i buffed/blended it in. Looks good now plus i have fitted a cctv & a baseball bat handy.

Any decent paint shop could fix that. Even if they re-spray that door it will be cheaper than buing another door. Normally its an easy fix if the edges are not damaged.

You could try touching it up , build up the layers and cut back till right. I don't think it can be blended as you would notice it too easily.

Personally people who do this deserve to have their fingers and knuckles broken and set wrong.

Or 320disc over it, 2k stopper, 180 disc, 320 disc, 2k high build, flat with 320, solvent base and 2k high solids clear coat, than a flat and a machine polish. Better off paying some one to do it by the time you have bought a gun, compressor, discs, paint, thinners, tac rags, pannel wipe, mixing cups, polisher, polish, clearcoat, hardener.....
