Default First Subaru, First Clean, need Advice

Hi guys, this is my first Subaru and this is the first picture I have anaged to get.

http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/...FtY/Subaru.jpg

I have a worry however. The Front winglets and fog covers are a lighter looking blue than the rest of the car. If I look carefully the wing mirrors, sideskirts and rear spoiler all appear to be lighter aswell.

The picture I have pictured should show this (As good as I could get).

Am I just being silly or should this be something to worry about?

Thanks everyone.

P.S Hope you like the pic.

you buy the fog light covers and side spats already coloured,
i brought some new spats recently and they dont match too great like yours but i put it down to bumper being old and a bit faded.
gave it a polish with colour restorer and it looked far better.
the spats catch the floor very easily so i guess a fair few have been replaced.

Subaru are not famous for spending huge money on finshing cars, or painting them....both my Impreza have had me stareing at panels and bumpers....never found anything on either of them to suggest they had been worked on though.....foget it, no one else will notice unless you wanna point it out to everyone you meet!!....go put some miles on it...assuming you have enough money left fo a tank of fuel....oh and YES <200 miles from a tank is normal

The paint appears a different colour due to the material there made out of mate, believe it or not the material paint is laying on can have a big effect on the finish colour.
If you take a look at most modern cars the plastic bumpers don't match the metal wings/quarter panels.
The items you mention are not the same material as the bumper plastic's.

agree with prodrive, look at almost all cars on rd, bumpers dont match to car. also diff shades and car parts are painting in diff factories, then transported and fitted.
