NEW SPEC C EVO Mag Review 5 Stars!
#6
The usual quicker, sharper alot more exciting to drive than the Uk spec. The only bad point is the interior which is poo!
The car was supplied through litcho so I think Ian will have the review on his site for those who have not seen it.

I presume this is the review
http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evoc...ti_spec_c.html
when he talks about "At chassis level, the Spec C has a new rear mechanical LSD replacing the Torsen item on the regular STI" is he relating to the 2008 STI or the newer 2011 spec C suspension jobby ?
Iain has some in great price, my once concern with these imports from my stance is, As i do i use it for company Miles thus claim back 23p a mile as the Uk is 2.5, this 2.0l model allthough its supposed to be good, would cripple a man if used for work LOL, think id only get about 14p GULP i barely break even now, touch that throttle or do 85 and i loose money
esp now fuels rockiting.
But for all you saturday boys its looks great

We have a demonstrator here for those interested
We are really pleased with the car, it is good standard but with a few choice changes it becoming especially good. We have spent of time on the chassis and the new car is a big step forward in terms of handling and steering feel.
The car will be featured again by Evo magazine and others
Regards
Iain

Will also be looking to get one of these next year, I'm hoping a year old one will be available at the right price, struggling to find another car that ticks all the boxes like the hatch, I do fancy a change but cannot find anything to tempt me away!

I personally think the hawkeye is the better drivers car.
I offered them my R205 for a feature as they usually love special editions like the mugen rr they reviewedback in 2008.
