Default Favourite / best scooby models

Im in a dilemma whether to spent another 1500 on my scoob as head gasket gone, or break and buy a blob eye sti.

mines tuned, simtek, forged etc, so should get 3k ish in bits. save a bit and get blob eye.

but are they better than a classic modified to 350bhp

or will it be disappointment on performance side if things.

whats your opinions on best one tuned or standard.

cosmetically i love them both.

Newage is a heavy car fella, 1200kg vs c1450kg ish ... like for like power wise the newage will be a lot slower. Classics are knocking on now though so you'll deffo be better from a less rust perspective

TX.

to be fair 1500 is a bit steep id say 1100-1200 is a more fair price seen as the garages need business at the mo in this climate and to start again if your enginer is already forged is a bit of a cost as well as the car you buy probally want have a forged lump better the devil you know

More of a thrill driving a classic in my opinion. Less bulky and cumbersome.

i have never driven a classic so cant comment on them.
but i considered one when looking for a subaru.
i use my car as an everyday car so went for a newage blob sti due to no rust issues reliability and it had climate control.

How do matey hows you these's days?
Id stick with the classic as already mentioned you'd need a blob with 400 donkeys to match the performance of a classic with a genuine 350
