FACELIFT- The Answer - Dave TS is right!!

After hearing about the restyle this morning, I have contacted Auto Express to see if they are interested in researching the story....
They guy who rang me back knew straight away about what I was talking about although, he has not seen the Sydney Heralds article. He does however have a contact in Japan that keeps them updated wih news. His information was that there WAS a restyle, the new cars would be built from September onwards and will arrive in the UK in Jan 2003.
It would seem from what he said that the restyle is going to be fairly mild, and will concentrate on bonnet, lights and bumper...but nevertheless the car would look quite different. He thought that it would make the most difference to the standard models (ie not Sti).
Hope this helps

Look at the author's name on the article - ring any bells?
He writes for Auto Express, too. Seems to be darn good bloke - seems to write for many of the top rags around the world (seen his name in C&D and Evo too). Doesn't seem to pull many punches and calls a spade a spade (esp. in that article ).
Oh - and he seems to know how to drive a bit too - you could see his mug in the ITR pics in his story on it - doing serious velocity judging by the tyre deformation and sl--i--p angle on the thing He did a good story on the GT-R M-spec too I think (was that in Evo? I read far too many mags ).
